The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Greenleaf uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Pound.
Pound misses with a wild body shot.
A bone on bone clash there as Pound blocks the leg kick.
Greenleaf tries to work over Pound's front leg with a kick but Pound checks it.
Greenleaf shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Greenleaf shoots in but no luck this time.
A swing and a miss from Pound.
Pound throws the left hand but Greenleaf avoids the punch easily.
Greenleaf loads up on a big right hand but Pound slips the punch.

Pound has closed the distance and engaged Greenleaf in a clinch.
Pound throws a punch but it's blocked by Greenleaf.

Greenleaf is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Pound can't fight it off and eventually Greenleaf manages to take the fight to the floor. Pound looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Pound is trying to control the position from the bottom.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Greenleaf throws a big elbow that misses.

Greenleaf is in close to Pound's body, working some short punches and elbows.

Pound on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Pound tries to get out of the position.

Pound tries to buck Greenleaf off but Greenleaf is having none of it.
Greenleaf has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Greenleaf thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Greenleaf wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Pound, who protects the arm well.
Pound dodges the ground and pound from Greenleaf.

Greenleaf works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.
Pound is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Greenleaf has just dragged him back down to the mat.
Pound is trying to work for a sweep but Greenleaf has mounted him!
Poor strikes thrown by Greenleaf there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Ground Pound's cut is getting worse.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Greenleaf is landing with some decent strikes but Pound is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
Pound tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Greenleaf lands a nice shot to the head.

Greenleaf has control of Pound's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Pound regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Greenleaf looking for a guillotine from mount but Pound is having none of it.

Pound has left one of his arms exposed and Greenleaf doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Pound screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.
