Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sean Harrison (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Josh Ripkin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Josh Ripkin will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Sean Harrison!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Josh Ripkin!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Wesley Smith and Chris Downing.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Harrison fails to land the takedown.
Harrison looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!

The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Harrison accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Harrison shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Ripkin as he jumps to the side.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Ripkin has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Harrison after a bit of a struggle.
Harrison drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Ripkin gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Ripkin drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Harrison bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Ripkin is trying to control Harrison's posture but Harrison avoids it.
Ripkin manages to work his way to half guard, despite Harrison's best efforts.
Harrison lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Harrison misses with a head shot. Ripkin uses the momentum to regain guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Josh Ripkin showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!


Harrison stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Harrison wants it to stay on the feet.
Ripkin tries to clinch but Harrison moves out of range.

Harrison shoots for a double leg takedown but Ripkin sprawls well. He's pushed Harrison's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Ripkin tries to land knees in the clinch but Harrison avoids the damage to the body.
Harrison tries to score a body lock takedown but Ripkin shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Harrison goes for a takedown attempt but Ripkin pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

Harrison misses with a takedown attempt - Ripkin sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

The fight stays on the outside here - Ripkin looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Harrison scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Harrison throwing ground and pound but whilst doing so, he forgets to control position and Ripkin works his way back to half guard. Good composure under pressure.

Josh Ripkin is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.

Ripkin is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

I've got Ripkin winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
