Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jake Orange (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Thomas Stark (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Orange comes to the cage accompanied by Bob Seger- Turn the Page. Stark has chosen Cmon Feel The Noise as his entrance music. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Orange fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Stark.
Stark stuffs the takedown.
Stark throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Orange sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Stark plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!

It looks like Jake Orange has been cut.
Orange goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Stark displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Orange.
Orange swings for the body but Stark moves out of range.
Orange scores with a crisp jab that stopped Stark in his tracks.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Orange throws a quick inside leg kick.

Orange shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Stark but Stark pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Stark ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Orange moves away.
Orange tries for a takedown but Stark sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Orange is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Stark.

Stark cracks Orange with an uppercut from hell and Orange crumples to the canvas, he's out! Oh no, he's recovered and he's grabbed one of Stark's legs and pulled him into guard. The ref thought about stopping it there but he's let it go - good reffing!

Orange is rocked!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Orange keeping moving, preventing Stark from controlling successfully.
Orange is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Orange holds on and takes a little breather.

Orange has momentary wrist control but Stark slips an elbow through the middle.
Stark in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Stark wants to get up but he can't break Orange's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Orange has control of Stark's left arm, preventing Stark from doing any damage.
Stark lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
Stark throws a strike but Orange rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Stark wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and Orange is now in half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Stark is trying to maintain the position but Orange is very close to passing his half guard.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Stark uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Orange.
Stark has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Orange.

Orange throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Stark looks to land a right hand but Orange moved out of range.

Stark swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Stark misses with a few strikes there.
Orange throws the kick towards the body but Stark avoids it.
Stark ducks right into an uppercut from Orange.
Orange throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Stark stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
That kick from Orange tenderised Stark's leg. Stark is trying to keep his angry face on.

Orange connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Stark defending well as Orange loads up on a big left hand.
Orange swings away with a leg kick that misses.

Orange lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Orange lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.

Orange feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Stark sprawling to the canvas! Stark rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Orange finish him?!
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Stark.
Stark tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Orange paws at him with a jab and circles away.
