Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Aleksandr Martynov, Dmitry Maklakov and Fedor Mirinova.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Guest shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Guest showed some decent athleticism there.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Guest wants to control but Smack is keeping him busy.

Smack must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Mr E Guest.
Guest is trying hard to land a takedown here. Smack sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Smack scrambles and gets back to his feet.
Sloppy strikes from Smack. Those never looked like landing.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Smack throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Guest counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Horrible takedown by Guest or perhaps it was just good defense by Smack which made him look bad.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Mr E Guest dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Smack fails with an attempt to clinch.
Guest closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Smack quickly recovers to half guard.
Smack tries to kick Guest off but Guest keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Guest is trying to control the action in half guard but Smack is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Guest thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Smack's head.
Smack wants to get back to his feet.
Guest is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

Smack is refusing to be controlled, as Guest sits in half guard.
Guest stops Smack from getting back to his feet.
