Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Rick Rich (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brian Lesnar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lesnar has chosen Here Comes The Boom as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Rick Rich!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 15 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Brian Lesnar!
The judges for this bout are , Frank Antenori and Timothy Bukovac.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lesnar lands a head kick. Rich smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Lesnar throws a half hearted mid kick.
Lesnar dips down and scores with a jab to the body.

Lesnar gets caught napping as Rich dives in and scores a takedown. Lesnar manages to retain guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Rich wants to control from the top but Lesnar keeps moving.
Lesnar pulls Rich in to control the position.
Rich postures up in Lesnar's guard and throws a big left but Lesnar blocks it.
Lesnar trying to keep a closed guard but Rich is proving a slippery customer.
Lesnar is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

We're going to have a standup here because Rick Rich wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.
Lesnar lands a leg kick that knocks Rich off balance momentarily.

Rich shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Lesnar manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Rich won't allow Lesnar to get back to his feet.
Rich is stalling in the full guard.
Lesnar wants to get back to his feet but Rich is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Lesnar is on top in guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Rich has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Lesnar doesn't defend quickly enough and Rich has managed to lock this one up! Can Lesnar escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Rich on a fantastic submission victory.
