The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jackson shoots in but no luck this time.
A punch lands to the side of Jackson 's head but he takes it in his stride.

Tyson shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

Jackson kicks off Tyson and gets to his feet.
Jackson has a takedown stuffed.
Jackson shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Tyson pinned against the cage. Tyson gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Owen Jackson. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Tyson stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Tyson wants it to stay on the feet.

and Tyson counters with a shoot takedown. Jackson fights it but they end up in guard.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Jackson is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Tyson stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Jackson swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Tyson content to sit in guard, stalling... Great. Oh but he could get punished here because Jackson has locked up a guillotine! Jackson's face is contorted as he sqeezes tight on the submission attempt - will he finish? Tyson is holding on here and Jackson must be using up a lot of energy. Tyson has gone limp! He's out! He's out cold! Jackson gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!

Owen Jackson decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
