The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

It looks like James Blackhill has been cut.
Dziuk takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Dziuk throws a right and a left that both miss.

Blackhill closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Blackhill lands in his opponent's guard.

Dziuk throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Dziuk tries to bum rush Blackhill with a series of wild strikes but Blackhill uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Dziuk lands a jab-cross combination.
Dziuk stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Dziuk wants it to stay on the feet.
Blackhill swings for the body but Dziuk moves out of range.
Dziuk bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
Stanislaw Dziuk is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Blackhill avoids a lazy jab quite easily.

Dziuk drops Blackhill with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Blackhill looks back up at him and smiles so Dziuk waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Blackhill shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Dziuk as he jumps to the side.
Oh Blackhill is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Dziuk throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Blackhill seems to have got his legs back now.

Blackhill feints and as Dziuk raises his hands in defense, Blackhill changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Blackhill stands and throws Dziuk's legs to the side, diving into side control.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Dziuk lands a big right hook! Blackhill looks hurt but is still standing! Dziuk lands a left jab and another right hook! This time Blackhill falls down and Dziuk dives in with a huge hammer fist! Blackhill's eyes roll back! The referee calls for the bell and Dziuk runs up the cage to celebrate with his fans!
