The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tompson misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Tompson clinches up with Demolition and pushes him back against the cage.
Demolition tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Tompson just stands there and leans against the cage.

Tompson lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!
Tompson putting his Muay Thai to good use. He has Demolition in a tight clinch and is doing some damage with knees to the body.
Demolition is breathing heavily.

Tompson has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Demolition is trying to keep an underhook but Tompson manages to get the takedown into half guard.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.

Demolition is rocked!
Tompson lands a big elbow from half guard. That looks like it's hurt Demolition quite badly. Demolition pulls Tompson in close trying to recover. Tompson postures up and lands two really hard shots that put Demolition on queer street! The ref takes a look and decides to call an end to the fight! Possibly an early stoppage but Demolition doesn't seem to be complaining too much.

Mike Tompson spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
