Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Michael Cage!
The judges for this bout are Eddie Farnsworth, Columbo Gatti and Steve Montenegro.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cage misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.

Holka shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Cage trying to control from the bottom.
Cage really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Holka. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Holka keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Cage can do anything to dispel that myth.
Cage wants to improve his position but Holka is controlling well.

Cage has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Holka is working away from the top position though.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Michael Cage wasn't active enough on the ground.
Holka tries for a takedown but Cage sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
No luck for Holka with that takedown attempt.
Cage shoots in looking for a takedown but Holka manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Cage's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Holka shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Cage as he avoids it easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jeremy Holka. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Cage is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Holka is aware though and is defending well.

Cage has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Holka can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Holka stands and throws Cage's legs to the side, diving into side control.

Holka is putting a hurting on Cage here, landing some big shots from side control.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Cage strikes from the bottom but Holka takes advantage and advances to full mount!

Cage tries to improve his position but Holka has taken his back! Holka has a choke - it's sunk in pretty tight... Will Cage tap? No... maybe... yes! He's tapped! Holka pushes Cage away and gets up to celebrate with his corner!
