Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mari Juana (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Junior Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Daniel Cesar, Emerson Jorge and Alexandre Firmino.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Juana keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Juana is looking to clinch but Silva is avoiding it.
Silva shoots in and drives through. Juana sprawls well.
Juana shoots for a takedown but Silva saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Silva gets tackled into the cage by Juana. Juana maintains the clinch.
Silva has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Juana wants a takedown.
Juana pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Juana closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Silva wants to control but Juana postures up.
Juana trying to control the action but Silva is working from the bottom.
Juana misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

Silva can't do much from the bottom here.
Silva might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Juana kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
Juana is staying tight to Silva's torso, preventing him from escaping.
Silva is looking to regain half guard here but Juana keeps moving and retains side control.
Silva is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
A lull in the action here as Juana stalls from top position.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
The fight stays on the outside here - Silva looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Silva fails to land the takedown.
Mari Juana has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Junior Silva.
Silva shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Juana sprawls well. Juana wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Silva gets slowly back to his feet.
Silva dives in and scores a takedown into Juana's guard.
Juana manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Juana lands a heavy elbow.

Juana content just to control the position here.
Juana is looking to work his way around to Silva's back. He needs to be careful though, as he's in danger of losing this dominant position.

Silva wants to improve position but instead he's given up his back.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Juana has the rear naked choke here! This is very bad for Silva! Can he survive? No! He's out! Juana gets to his feet and celebrates with his cornermen. He looks absolutely delighted. In the post fight interviews he takes time to thank his parents and everyone who has believed in him from the start. How sweet.
