The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cummings misses with a few strikes there.
Cummings throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Samson sees it coming and avoids it easily.
The fighters circle momentarily. Cummings darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Cummings swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Samson ducks under a wild hook from Cummings.

Cummings throws a hook to the side of Samson's head but Samson sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Cummings buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Cummings throws a body punch but Samson moves out of range.
A looping hook to the body misses from Cummings. Samson does a little dance to reset his feet.

Cummings lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Samson circles away quickly and effectively.

Samson tries to clinch but Cummings is having none of it.
Cummings's corner calls for a 1-2. Cummings obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.

It looks like Mina Samson has been cut.

Ouch! a nice leg kick from Cummings, right into the meat.
Samson is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Cummings explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.
Samson shoots in for a double leg but Cummings sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Archie Cummings has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mina Samson.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Cummings scores with a sloppy right hand. Samson should have avoided that one.
Archie Cummings seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Samson is sent reeling backwards by a solid uppercut. He barely regains his balance and Cummings moves in for the kill throwing a continuous barrage of punches that force the ref to step in.
