Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ron Burgundy!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Sheldon Cooper!
The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Alan Glass and Daniel Franklin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cooper tries to score a power double leg takedown but Burgundy sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Cooper somewhat.
Cooper circles away from the clinch attempt.
Burgundy misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.

Burgundy fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Cooper to the ground. Burgundy is now in Cooper's guard.
Burgundy throws an elbow that misses. Cooper uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Burgundy's guard. Nice move by Cooper!
Cooper trying to control but Burgundy is working from the bottom.
Cooper won't allow Burgundy to get back to his feet.
Burgundy trying to keep a closed guard but Cooper is proving a slippery customer.
Burgundy really is a fat lump.
Burgundy looking to sweep here. No luck so far.

Burgundy can't keep his opponent in guard - Cooper advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Burgundy blocking the ground and pound attempt from Cooper.
Cooper works his way into side control.
Burgundy takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.
Cooper grinds an elbow into Burgundy's temple.
Cooper has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Burgundy throwing some weak shots from the bottom that do no damage.
Cooper is putting a hurting on Burgundy here, landing some big shots from side control.
Burgundy knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Cooper on the ground.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Cooper stands up and beckons Burgundy to his feet.
Cooper shoots for a double leg takedown but Burgundy sprawls well. He's pushed Cooper's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Cooper feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Burgundy is trying to control the position but Cooper postures up.
Burgundy is breathing heavily.

Cooper with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
Cooper advances position into side control!
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Cooper scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Burgundy to see if he's OK.
Cooper is looking to take a break and control but Burgundy is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Cooper connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Burgundy some visible discomfort.

Cooper lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Burgundy down.

Burgundy tries to escape but Cooper is in control.
Oh Burgundy is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Cooper lands a strong strike to the head of Burgundy. That's dazed him! Cooper looking to finish here. Burgundy is waving his arms around trying to block but he's hurt badly - Cooper lands more strikes and the referee steps in to end the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:28 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Sheldon Cooper!
