Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Wiki Waldo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Raul Barbosa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Barbosa has chosen Kick in the Door as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Barbosa throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

Waldo has his takedown stuffed
and Barbosa counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Waldo is lucky that one didn't land flush.

Waldo drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Barbosa is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Waldo drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Waldo jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Waldo accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Waldo postures up and lands a big shot to Barbosa's brow.
Waldo keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Barbosa's head.
Barbosa has momentary wrist control but Waldo slips an elbow through the middle.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Waldo postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Barbosa is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Waldo, into his guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Waldo is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Barbosa rolls with it to try and escape but Waldo cranks on the arm and Barbosa is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
