Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Mark Mazer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marek Przemek (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Przemek has chosen Nightwish- Last Ride Of The Day as his entrance music. Marek Przemek has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Mark Mazer's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Mark Mazer!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Marek Przemek!
The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Trevor Gratis and Dillan Fox.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mazer jabs Przemek right on the nose. Przemek blinks but takes it well.
Mazer lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Mazer pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Mazer uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Przemek has time to react.
Mazer throws a head kick that misses.
Przemek shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Mazer but Mazer pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Mazer throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Mazer throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped

and Przemek counters with a single leg into guard. Mazer didn't expect that.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Przemek engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.

It looks like Przemek might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
Przemek works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Mazer pushes Przemek off but Przemek dives into side control.
Przemek content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though.
Mazer is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but Przemek is one step ahead and moves to full mount!

Mazer has given up his back, trying to stand up. Not clever.
Przemek gets his hands free as Mazer looks to control.
Przemek keeps control of the position easily here as Mazer tries to buck him off.
Przemek's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.

Mazer is trying to get back to his feet but Przemek has full control of the position and if anything, Mazer has just worked his way into a worse spot.
You know, I was talking to some of our celebrities at ringside tonight and they were split right down the middle on who was going to win this fight.
Mazer is trying to stand back up.
Przemek is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Przemek keeps control of the position as Mazer tries to break free.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Mazer looking to stop the rear naked choke attempt by controlling the hands.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

A close round but Marek Przemek will probably get the nod.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!


Mazer misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Przemek slips a jab and a cross from Mazer.
A chopping leg kick lands by Mazer.
Mazer throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Mazer lands a head kick. Przemek smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Mazer tries a head kick but it misses.
Some wild striking there from Mazer.
Mazer fails to land with a series of punches.
Przemek fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Mark Mazer is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Mazer lands with an uppercut that bounces Przemek off the cage and back into range.
Mark Mazer seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Przemek shoots in for a takedown but Mazer shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Danga de danga de dang - Mazer scores with a four punch combination!
Mazer fails to land with a series of punches.
Przemek tries for a takedown but Mazer sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Mark Mazer has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Marek Przemek.
Przemek checks a low kick from Mazer.
Przemek shoots in looking for a takedown. Mazer tries to sprawl out of it but Przemek keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Mazer manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Przemek avoids the head kick by Mazer.
Mazer scores with a hook.
Mazer throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
A combination from Mazer does no damage.

Mazer misses with a wild combination.
Mazer throws a sloppy head kick

and Przemek counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Przemek is standing up over Mazer. Mazer looks to escape but Przemek dives into side control.
Przemek is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Let's hope that Przemek has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Marek Przemek hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Nice takedown defense from Mazer. No joy for Przemek on that attempt.
Mark Mazer is winning the standup battle so far.
Mazer misses with a jab, cross combination.
Przemek closes the distance and clinches up with Mazer, looking for a takedown. Przemek pushes Mazer against the cage but Mazer circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Mazer misses with a few strikes there.
Mazer throws a head kick that misses.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Mazer pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Przemek back to the cage. Mazer follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
Mazer swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Przemek takes a kick to the body and keeps moving.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Mark Mazer dominated that second round.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!


Mazer lands with a slapping head kick.
Mazer feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Przemeks jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Mazer getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
Mazer throws a series of punches but Przemek avoids them all with ease.
Nice sprawl there from Mazer as Przemek shoots in.
Mazer defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Przemek.
A solid leg kick lands there for Mazer.
Mazer throws a nice looking combination but Przemek bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Mazer lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Przemek circles away quickly and effectively.
Mazer throws a right and a left that Przemek avoids nicely.
Przemek closes the distance and clinches up with Mazer, looking for a takedown. Przemek pushes Mazer against the cage but Mazer circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Mark Mazer has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Marek Przemek.
Mazer throws a nice looking combination but Przemek bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

A telegraphed right hand from Mazer misses the target.
Mazer misses with a combination

so Przemek counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Przemek stands and throws Mazer's legs to the side, diving into side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
A lull in the action here as Przemek stalls from top position.
Mazer tries to get back to his feet but has found himself mounted instead. Damn, that's gotta suck.

Przemek controlling the pace for now.
Mazer tries to hold on but Przemek postures up.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Mazer is trying to get to the cage to help him get back to his feet.
Mazer is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Przemek sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Przemek prevents Mazer from getting the reversal.

And that's the end of the fight!
That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Mark Mazer.
I think Mazer has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

A less than humble Mark Mazer misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
