Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Brock Barnett (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Game Time Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Barnett closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Jones tries to get back to half guard but can't.

Barnett is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Jones is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Barnett wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Jones, who protects the arm well.
Jones manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.

Barnett is looking for a kimura but Jones is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Barnett to get the leverage.

Barnett is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Jones doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Barnett.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Barnett looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Jones escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Barnett gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Jones is looking for a triangle but Barnett pushes his legs off easily.

Barnett got a little sloppy there for a moment and Jones has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Barnett has managed to get both his arms back between Jones's legs - danger averted.

Jones is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Barnett defends well.

Barnett thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Jones looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Barnett is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Jones is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Jones has escaped and now he's on top!

Barnett is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Jones defends well.

Barnett has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Jones can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Jones is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.

Jones is in close to Barnett's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Jones postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Barnett is rocked!
Jones arches his back and unloads with a massive left and a right! Barnett's eyes roll back into his head, he's out cold! The ref dives in to stop the fight - wow, they were hard shots!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:32 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Game Time Jones! Game Time Jones retains his heavyweight title!
