The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stump looks for a takedown but Wenger sprawls well.
Arsene Wenger seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Stump shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Wenger as he avoids it easily.
Stump tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Wenger swivels and escapes.

Wenger motions for Stump to come forward. Wenger throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Stump shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Wenger as he jumps to the side.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

Wenger tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Wenger has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Stump doesn't succeed with the takedown

and Wenger counters with a takedown into side control.

Wenger is stalling here. Stump is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Wenger seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Stump has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Wenger is just holding on here. Stump manages to take his back.
Wenger rolls and manages to get back to half guard. Nicely done.

Wenger throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Stump escapes and throws Wenger's legs to the side, diving into side control!

Arsene Wenger showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!
