Owl's entrance music is Jay-Z & Kanye West - Ni**as In Paris. A fine choice. Tony Owl has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Axe steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Owl.
Owl with a jab.

It looks like Cyrus Axe has been cut.
Axe fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Owl misses with an uppercut
enabling Axe to counter with a crisp jab.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Axe tries to close the distance and clinch but Owl swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Axe gets a clinch.

Owl breaks from the clinch.

Owl moves into the clinch successfully.
Owl wants to break free but Axe has control.
Axe is trying to maintain a safe position but Owl gets an underhook and turns Axe into the cage.
Axe is looking to take this one to the mat.

Owl breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Axe darts in and out, connecting with a jab.

It looks like Tony Owl has been cut.
Owl thows a left - swing and a miss!
No luck for Axe with that takedown attempt.

Owl throws a hook to the side of Axe's head but Axe sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Axe.
Axe is trying desperately to land a takedown but Owl is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Axe.

Axe ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

Owl moves into the clinch successfully.

A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Axe.
Owl throws a jab but it's blocked by Axe.
Owl defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Axe.
Axe tries to score a power double leg takedown but Owl sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Axe somewhat.

Owl cracks Axe with an uppercut from hell and Axe crumples to the canvas, he's out! Oh no, he's recovered and he's grabbed one of Owl's legs and pulled him into guard. The ref thought about stopping it there but he's let it go - good reffing!
Owl wants to stand but Axe has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

Owl stands up from Axe's guard - Owl perhaps looking for a knockout.

Axe staying out of range there.

Tony Owl is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Owl breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Owl stuffs the takedown attempt from Axe. Axe gets slowly back to his feet.

and Owl counters by moving into the clinch.

Owl throws a big overhand right that connects, sending Axe tumbling to the canvas!

Axe is rocked!
Owl wants to stand but Axe has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

Owl stands up from guard. Let's bang!
Axe slips under a jab.
Owl throws a jab when Axe was well out of range.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Axe fails with an attempt to clinch.
Axe takes one to the side of the head.

Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Owl is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.
Axe looks to land a combination. Owl sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.

and Owl holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Axe is trying to drag Owl to the mat but Owl just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Owl escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Axe doesn't manage to clinch there - Owl circles away.
Owl loads up on a big right hand but Axe slips the punch.
Axe is breathing heavily.
Owl throws a shot from downtown. Axe moves away and avoids it.

Axe changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Owl tries to avoid it but Axe manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Owl to the ground. Owl escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

and Owl counters with a straight right hand.
Owl throws a big shot that misses.

Owl moves into range and throws a big uppercut. OH! Axe goes down! Can Owl finish him!?
Axe is still in real trouble! Can Owl finish him?
This has been an exciting period of action!

Owl decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Axe, up you get!

Owl fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Axe, pushing him back against the cage.
Axe seems to have recovered his senses.

Owl breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Owl looks to throw the jab but Axe is out of range.
Axe uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Owl.

Axe fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Owl manages to avoid it.

Owl forces Axe back against the cage and clinches.

Owl pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Axe shoots in for a takedown but Owl shows good takedown defense.
Axe slips under a jab from Owl.
Axe uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Owl.
Axe uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Owl.
Owl stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
The fighters circling - Owl throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

Owl steps into range and cracks Axe with a monster punch that buckles his knees! Axe flops backwards and Owl dives into his guard looking to finish!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Owl gets to his feet - Axe follows without any prompting.

Owl waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Axe.
Owl fakes the leg kick and throws a superman punch. It's knocked Axe out cold! Brutal finish!
