Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tom Erikson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Damien Clover (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Erikson's entrance music is PrideFC. A fine choice. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Alec Ball and William Peck.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A thudding body kick lands there by Clover!
Erikson blocks a head kick by Clover.
Erikson closes the distance and clinches up with Clover, looking for a takedown. Erikson pushes Clover against the cage but Clover circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Erikson closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Clover to the mat! Clover manages to get full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Erikson is working Clover over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Clover should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Erikson accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Erikson cracks Clover with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
It looks like Damien Clover has been cut.
Oooh a big shot lands for Erikson! Clover is out! The ref dives in to save him from more punishment!
