The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Richard Clark and Steven Brown.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sakuraba looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Sakuraba fails with the takedown.
Sakuraba scores a takedown into full mount!
Jenkins bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!
Jenkins passes into half guard.
Sakuraba is looking to improve his position.
Sakuraba won't allow Jenkins to pass to mount.
Sakuraba is refusing to be controlled, as Jenkins sits in half guard.
Jenkins is trying to work for a kimura. He's got his hands clasped together - this could be trouble! No, Sakuraba has managed to free his arm - good work.

Sakuraba is trying to stand back up but Jenkins is controlling him
Sakuraba is not content to let Jenkins control the position.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Sakuraba closes the distance and clinches up with Jenkins, looking for a takedown. Sakuraba pushes Jenkins against the cage but Jenkins circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Limonos Sakuraba. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Sakuraba will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Jenkins is positioning himself to get back to half guard.

Sakuraba throws an elbow but Jenkins slips to the side and avoids it well.
