Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Devin Kane!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

4 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Dedric Knowles!
The judges for this bout are Paul Gruel, Roger Salmon and Ryoma Takatsuka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kane throws a low kick but Knowles avoids it.
Knowles misses with the combination.
Kane takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Kane swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Kane takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Kane walks into a left hand.
Knowles jabs at Kane's body.
Kane fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
A telegraphed right hand from Kane misses the target.
Knowles misses with a body shot.
Nice uppercut there from Kane.
Kane swings for the body but Knowles moves out of range.
Kane throws a right hand that misses
and Knowles counters with a nice body shot.
Kane swings and misses with a hook to the body.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Knowles jabs Kane right on the nose. Kane blinks but takes it well.
Kane avoids the body shot from Knowles.
Kane ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Knowles moves away.
Knowles is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Kane.
Kane throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Knowles fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Knowles falls off balance throwing a combination
and Kane connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Kane on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Kane throws a body punch but Knowles moves out of range.
Kane keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Knowles.
Kane throws a right and a left that Knowles avoids nicely.
Knowles throws a body punch but Kane moves out of range.
Knowles throws a nice looking combination but Kane bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Knowles fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Kane is looking to wear down Knowles with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
Knowles lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Knowles.
Kane listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
The crowd cheers as Kane lands an impressive looking overhand right. Knowles doesn't seem phased though.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Knowles connects with a looping right hand.
Kane has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Kane there as he acknowledges the shot.
Knowles misses with a double jab
enabling Kane to counter with a crisp jab.
Knowles is rocked!
It looks like Dedric Knowles has been cut.
Knowles throws a hook but Kane avoids it easily.
Knowles is still on wobbly legs! Can Kane finish him?
Kane lands a jab to Knowles's midsection.
Kane uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Knowles.
Knowles walks right into a perfectly timed right hook and goes down hard! He's out cold! The ref cradles Knowles limp body while Kane jumps on to the cage and waves to the roaring crowd. Wow that was just a brutal knockout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:51 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Devin Kane!
