Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jack Crow (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jake Huard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Huard darts in trying to clinch
and Crow counters with a slapping leg kick.
Huard tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Crow paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Crow scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Huard walks into a jab.
Huard tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Crow manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Crow takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.

It looks like Jack Crow has been cut.
An inside leg kick lands from Crow.
Huard lands the left hand.

Crow is rocked!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Huard wants to clinch.

and Crow counters with a takedown into side control.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Crow prevents Huard from escaping the position.
Crow connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Huard some visible discomfort.

Huard stops Crow from passing to mount.

Crow working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.

Crow thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Huard really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Crow. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Crow wants to control the pace but Huard is squirming around nicely.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Huard tries to buck Crow off but Crow takes his back!
Huard is trying to get back to his feet but Crow has full control of the position and if anything, Huard has just worked his way into a worse spot.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Crow has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Crow is remaining active here, looking for the choke. The more discerning members of the crowd will appreciate his efforts.
Crow just keeping the dominant position. He can't wait too long though, otherwise the referee will stand them back up.

Crow looking to break Huard's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Huard remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Crow will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke!
