The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Clarkson lands with an overhand left.
Khan will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Clarkson looks for a takedown but Khan sprawls well.
Clarkson scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Khan doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Clarkson counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
Khan is looking for a sweep. Clarkson is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Khan is working hard here to advance position.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Still in half guard, Clarkson seems content to control.
Khan moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Clarkson trying to control but Khan is working from the bottom.
Clarkson won't allow Khan to sweep him here.
Clarkson is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Khan has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Clarkson is looking to defend but Khan has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Clarkson! Khan pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Clarkson taps out and this one is all over!
