Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between DuShayne Walters (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Elijah Cao (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). This should be a great matchup!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, DuShayne Walters!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Elijah Cao!
The judges for this bout are Donatello Bradman, Steve Erwin and Bruno Hogan.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cao jabs Walters to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Walters throws a body punch but Cao moves out of range.
Walters gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Walters lands with a nice body punch.
Walters throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Cao fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Walters manages to avoid it.
Cao throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
A jab lands there for Walters.
Walters lands a nice looking body shot.
Walters just misses with a punch to the body.
Cao scores with a jab to the jaw.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Walters has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.

Walters ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Cao moves away.

Cao drives through with a takedown into guard.
Cao throws a big elbow that misses.
Cao is fighting to break Walters's control of his arms but Walters is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
Walters utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Cao throws an elbow that misses. Walters uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Cao's guard. Nice move by Walters!

Cao has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Walters can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
You can see the frustration on Cao's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

I really don't envy Walters right now.

Cao fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Walters looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Walters shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Cao as he jumps to the side.

Cao stuns Walters with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Cao uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Walters.
Elijah Cao seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Cao looks to land a combination. Walters sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Cao takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!


Cao looks to land a left hand but Walters moved out of range nicely.

Cao working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Walters doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Walters manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
