The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Gregory Folan and Ian Loll.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Redfield misses with a hook to the body
and Rogers makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
Chris Redfield seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Redfield gets a clinch.

Rogers jumps guard and drags Redfield to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Redfield loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Redfield pushing down on Rogers's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.
Rogers works his way to full guard. Good work.
Redfield slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Redfield's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Rogers takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.

Redfield is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Rogers feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Redfield chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Rogers can pounce on him.

Redfield throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Redfield takes a swing at Rogers's ribcage but misses.
Rogers dives in and grabs Redfield's left leg, looking for a takedown. Redfield pushes down on Rogers's head and hops out.
Chris Redfield is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Rogers avoids the body shot from Redfield.
Redfield will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Rogers throws a front kick aimed at Redfield's knee but Redfield avoids it well.

and Rogers counters with a nice uppercut.
Redfield misses with a straight right.
A looping hook to the body misses from Redfield. Rogers does a little dance to reset his feet.
Redfield lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Rogers uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Redfield.
Redfield throws a left and a right that both miss
and Rogers counters with a nice low kick that buckles Redfield's knee momentarily.
Rogers shoots in looking for a takedown but Redfield manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Rogers's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Chris Redfield has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Anthony Rogers.
