The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Club tries to clinch but Timmons moves out of range.
Club closes the distance looking to clinch
and Timmons counters with a one-two to the body.
Timmons connects with a looping right hand.

and Club counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Club throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
enabling Timmons to counter with a crisp jab.

Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Timmons . Club shrugs it off though.

Club closes the distance and pushes Timmons back into the cage.

With the fighters up against the cage, Club throws an elbow but misses.
Club lands a glancing elbow in the clinch.

It looks like Bill Timmons has been cut.
Timmons is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.

Timmons makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.

Club pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage.

Timmons gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Club regains guard.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Timmons throwing strikes from guard but Club blocks nicely.

Club looking for subs off his back but Timmons has passed one foot through into half guard.
Timmons wants to take a breather but Club is having none of it.

Timmons takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.

Club with the active half guard here but Timmons passes nicely into side control.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Timmons scores with a couple of short elbows.
Timmons gets to mount! Club was on the offensive and wasn't defending properly.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Club is squirming around, avoiding Timmons 's attempts to control the action.

Timmons tries to control but Club wriggling away.
Timmons fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Timmons connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
Timmons is landing with some decent strikes but Club is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
Club wants to control but Timmons is having none of it.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
A big strike lands for Timmons ! That's really hurt Club and he's turned his back - Timmons keeps firing away and the ref dives in to stop the fight! Timmons jumps to his feet to celebrate the victory!
