Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the middleweight championship of the world!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Goldsmith takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
A jab lands there for God.
Goldsmith doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
God throws a sloppy head kick and Goldsmith moves out of range easily.
God works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Goldsmith ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Goldsmith showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from God.
God throws a hook but Goldsmith avoids it easily.
God throws a lazy right hand but Goldsmith sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
God digs a good body shot into Goldsmith's ribs.

A nice inside leg kick there by God. That's going to slow Goldsmith down.
God looks to land a combination but Goldsmith avoids it well.
God misses with a wild body shot.
A telegraphed right hand from God misses the target.
God throws the left hand but Goldsmith avoids the punch easily.
God swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Goldsmith misses with a wild combination.
Goldsmith closes the distance and lands a one-two.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
God misses with an uppercut. Goldsmith saw that one coming.
Sloppy strikes from Goldsmith. Those never looked like landing.
God fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
God swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Goldsmith connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
A slapping leg kick lands for God.
Goldsmith fails in his attempt to clinch.
Goldsmith avoids the head kick by God.
Goldsmith throws a right hand that God ducks under and follows up with a left that God also avoids with ease.

God cracks the inside of Goldsmith's front leg.
Goldsmith fails with a takedown attempt.
A low kick from Goldsmith misses
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Goldsmith looks to land a combination but God avoids it well.

God gets caught napping as Goldsmith dives in and scores a takedown. God manages to retain guard.
God is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
God content to control rather than advance.
God wants to stand up but Goldsmith is controlling the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Goldsmith is looking to control God's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Goldsmith avoid being mounted?
Goldsmith is trying to stand up here but God is controlling him well.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
God controlling the action here.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Goldsmith keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Gully God dominated that round.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!


God scores with a jab to the body.

Goldsmith moves into the clinch.
God working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely.
God avoids the elbow strike from Goldsmith, against the cage.

God manages to break the clinch.
Goldsmith has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Goldsmith there as he acknowledges the shot.
God comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
God displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Goldsmith.
God bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Goldsmith's head backwards.
Goldsmith with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling God to score with a decent uppercut.


Goldsmith is rocked!

God lands a monster head kick that reverborates around the arena! The crowd goes wild as Goldsmith crumples to the floor! God milks the crowd's applause and if that isn't knockout of the night, I will be very surprised!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:09 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Gully God!
Gully God retains his middleweight title!
A very excited looking Gully God made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
