The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A decent looking cross lands there for Holmes.
Hissink tries to clinch up but Holmes circles away and keeps his distance.
Holmes ducks under a wild hook from Hissink.
Holmes throws a jab when Hissink was well out of range.
Decent striking displayed by Hissink there.
Holmes ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Holmes on the wrong end of a nice hook.

It looks like James Holmes has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Holmes avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Holmes connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Hissink momentarily.
Hissink throws a series of punches but Holmes avoids them all with ease.
Holmes cracks the inside of Hissink's front leg.
Hissink tries a low kick but Holmes avoids it.
Holmes tries to land a front kick but Hissink steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Hissink takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
A punch lands to the side of Hissink 's head but he takes it in his stride.

Hissink is rocked!
Hissink lands a body shot.
Holmes lands a nice shot to the body.
Holmes tests Hissink's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Oh Hissink is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Holmes drops Hissink with a straight right hand, right on the button! Holmes follows him down to the mat and pounds him out with hammerfists until the referee jumps in to end the fight!
