Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lord Vivec (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alex Manuel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vivec looks to throw the jab but Manuel is out of range.
Vivec misses with a body shot.
Some bone on bone action there as Manuel checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Manuel with a lazy takedown attempt
and Vivec counters with a nice leg kick.
Manuel closes the distance and clinches up with Vivec, looking for a takedown. Manuel pushes Vivec against the cage but Vivec circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Vivec scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Manuel shoots and misses

Lord Vivec has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Alex Manuel.
A big left from Vivec misses.

Manuel gets caught flat footed, as Vivec shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Manuel not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Vivec passes Manuel's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Manuel really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Vivec. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Vivec content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
Vivec is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Manuel!

He's hopped off into side control, looking to tighten the submission... is it going to work? He's given up a good position looking for it. Manuel looks OK. Oh, I spoke too soon, he's out! That must have been tighter than I thought! Excellent work there by Vivec! Submission of the night perhaps?
