Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Anni Minnemäki and Roosa Järviläinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nyrkki looks to throw the jab but Beater is out of range.
Nyrkki defending well as Beater loads up on a big left hand.
A big left from Nyrkki misses.
Beater looks to land a right hand but Nyrkki moved out of range.
Nyrkki thows a body shot but no joy.
Nyrkki lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Beater at a distance.
Nyrkki missing with a left hand there. Beater was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Beater waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Nyrkki.
Nyrkki throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Beater sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Nice uppercut there from Nyrkki.
Make Nyrkki seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Nyrkki checks a leg kick.
Nyrkki throws a jab when Beater was well out of range.
Nyrkki throws a body punch but Beater moves out of range.
Beater fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Nyrkki sprawls well initially but Beater persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Beater looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Nyrkki with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Beater is nestled in close to Nyrkki, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
It looks like Make Nyrkki has been cut.
Beater lands a big elbow from half guard. That looks like it's hurt Nyrkki quite badly. Nyrkki pulls Beater in close trying to recover. Beater postures up and lands two really hard shots that put Nyrkki on queer street! The ref takes a look and decides to call an end to the fight! Possibly an early stoppage but Nyrkki doesn't seem to be complaining too much.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Wife Beater!
Wife Beater decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
