Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jos Mykhaylenko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jojo Monchi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Monchi has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. The key to victory for Jos Mykhaylenko has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mykhaylenko tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Monchi paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Monchi tries to score a power double leg takedown but Mykhaylenko sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Monchi somewhat.
Monchi shoots in but Mykhaylenko avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Mykhaylenko tries to close the distance and clinch up but Monchi swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Mykhaylenko looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Mykhaylenko moves in looking to clinch but Monchi pushes him off.
Mykhaylenko throws a leg kick which misses Monchi's front leg but catches the back leg as Monchi tries to avoid it.

The fight stays on the outside here - Mykhaylenko looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Mykhaylenko shoots in for a takedown but Monchi shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Mykhaylenko stalks Monchi and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Monchi's face. Monchi staggers backwards, shaken.

OH! Monchi has been rocked by a huge right hand and is in deep trouble! Mykhaylenko smells blood and charges in for the finish! Mykhaylenko unloads a vicious overhand right and connects to the jaw of Monchi sending him face first to the canvas! Unbelievable!
