Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mike Zambidis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kris Jakua (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Some bone on bone action there as Jakua checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Jakua throws a nice outside leg kick.
Jakua is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Zambidis.
Zambidis takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Jakua dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Zambidis swings away with a leg kick that misses.
Jakua connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Jakua tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Zambidis was well out of range. Poor timing from Jakua.
Jakua fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Zambidis manages to avoid it.
Zambidis walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Jakua checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Jakua's corner calls for a 1-2. Jakua obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

It looks like Mike Zambidis has been cut.
Jakua throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Zambidis throws a leg kick but Jakua moved away.

Jakua circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Zambidis to the canvas! Zambidis doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Jakua keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!
