Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mauricio Rua (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Steve Dela Cruz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rua's entrance music is Roy Jones - Can't be touched . A fine choice. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the ring.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Radbod Blank, Daniel Blasius and Wagner Zegers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rua tries for a takedown but Cruz sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Cruz misses with a left hand
and Rua counters with a three punch combo that has Cruz backing up. Cruz nods at Rua to acknowledge the strikes.
Rua throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Cruz's waist but Cruz gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Rua off to one side.
Cruz misses with a jab, cross combination.
Rua fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mauricio Rua. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Rua shoots in looking for a takedown. Cruz tries to sprawl out of it but Rua keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the ropes. Cruz manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Cruz throws a right and a left that both miss.
Rua misses with a takedown
and Cruz counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Rua shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Cruz sprawls well. Cruz wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Rua gets slowly back to his feet.
Cruz swings and misses with a hook to the body.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Cruz scores with a leg kick.
Cruz connects with a looping right hand.
Rua with a poor takedown
and Cruz counters with a nice body shot.
Rua is breathing heavily.
Cruz sends Rua crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Cruz is motioning to the referee to let Rua up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
Rua is rocked!
It looks like Mauricio Rua has been cut.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Cruz fakes the leg kick and throws a superman punch. It's knocked Rua out cold! Brutal finish!
