Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Ray Machine (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mr Jiu Jitsu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Machine's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Stupid KId. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 21 - 12 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Ray Machine!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Mr Jiu Jitsu!
The judges for this bout are Lou da Vinci, David Schapiro and John Kavanagh.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Machine misses the shot to the body.
Machine lands a jab to the nose.
Machine bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Machine avoids a punch combination nicely.
Jiu Jitsu throws a right hand that Machine ducks under and follows up with a left that Machine also avoids with ease.
Jiu Jitsu misses with a wild combination.
Machine scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Jiu Jitsu doesn't seem bothered though.
Machine fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Machine takes a swing at Jiu Jitsu's ribcage but misses.
Machine looks to score with a jab to the body but Jiu Jitsu is just out of range.
Jiu Jitsu blocks a jab.
Jiu Jitsu shoots for a takedown but Machine saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Jiu Jitsu uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Machine.
Machine throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Machine listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.

Machine missing with a left hand there. Jiu Jitsu was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Machine lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Machine throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
The fighters circling - Jiu Jitsu throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Jiu Jitsu misses with a two punch combination.
Machine misses with a body shot
and Jiu Jitsu cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Machine looks to land a left hand but Jiu Jitsu moved out of range nicely.
The fighters circle momentarily. Jiu Jitsu darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Machine dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Machine scores with a crisp jab that stopped Jiu Jitsu in his tracks.
Machine dips to his left and cracks Jiu Jitsu with an uppercut!

Machine throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Machine fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Jiu Jitsu on the side of the head.
Machine lands a nice looking body shot.

Machine misses with a straight right.
Machine throws the left hand but Jiu Jitsu avoids the punch easily.
Machine works the jab nicely.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
A combination from Jiu Jitsu does no damage.

Jiu Jitsu shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Machine is trying to defend but Jiu Jitsu finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

Jiu Jitsu looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Machine tries to roll over but Jiu Jitsu keeps him under control.
Machine is staying active underneath Jiu Jitsu, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Jiu Jitsu not landing any meaningful shots this time.
Jiu Jitsu is looking to advance position but Machine won't allow it.

Machine avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Jiu Jitsu.
Machine is looking for a sweep. Jiu Jitsu is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Jiu Jitsu is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Machine knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Machine gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Ray Machine dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.


Machine connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Machine misses with a shot to the body
and Jiu Jitsu counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Ray Machine seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Good shot there by Machine.
Machine looks to throw the jab but Jiu Jitsu is out of range.
Machine connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Jiu Jitsu tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Machine is able to avoid easily.
A big left from Machine misses.
Jiu Jitsu changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Machine tries to avoid it but Jiu Jitsu manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Machine to the ground. Machine escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

so Jiu Jitsu counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Machine looking for a guillotine here but Jiu Jitsu defends easily.

Jiu Jitsu with a flurry of punches that miss.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Jiu Jitsu accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Jiu Jitsu throws a strike but Machine rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Jiu Jitsu bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Machine's guard.

Mr Jiu Jitsu showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!

Jiu Jitsu uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Machine.
Jiu Jitsu fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

Machine throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Jiu Jitsu stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Mr Jiu Jitsu wasn't active enough on the ground.

Jiu Jitsu finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.

Machine lands with a nice combination. Jiu Jitsu backs away looking to recover.
Machine swings for the body but Jiu Jitsu moves out of range.

Machine throws an overhand right that lands on Jiu Jitsu's shoulder, as Jiu Jitsu tries to avoid the shot.
Mr Jiu Jitsu is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Jiu Jitsu drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Jiu Jitsu wants to control from the top but Machine keeps moving.
Jiu Jitsu postures up.

Jiu Jitsu lying in Machine's guard like a wet fish here, stalling away. Machine decides he's had enough of all that nonsense - he escapes his hips and locks up an armbar! Wow, that was slick! Jiu Jitsu taps! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over!
