Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Reginald Hawk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dulsan Kuciak (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hawk comes to the cage accompanied by flame to the moth. Reginald Hawk has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kuciak fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Kuciak shoots in and drives through. Hawk sprawls well.
An inside leg kick lands from Hawk.
Kuciak shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Hawk sprawls well. Hawk wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Kuciak gets slowly back to his feet.
Reginald Hawk has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dulsan Kuciak.
Kuciak throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Hawk's waist but Hawk gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Kuciak off to one side.

Kuciak gets a double leg takedown into Hawk's guard.

Hawk looking for a guillotine here but Kuciak defends easily.

Hawk on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Hawk tries to get out of the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Kuciak slips nicely into half guard.
Kuciak is looking to advance position but Hawk won't allow it.
Hawk is doing well to avoid being mounted. He's controlling the position at the moment.
Hawk is looking for a sweep. Kuciak is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Kuciak should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Kuciak is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.
Kuciak takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.

Kuciak seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Hawk does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Hawk wants to improve his position but Kuciak is controlling well.
Kuciak stops Hawk from getting back to his feet.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Hawk wants to control but Kuciak is keeping busy.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Hawk connects with a body shot that sends Kuciak's belly button to the back.
Hawk will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Hawk looks to score with a jab to the body but Kuciak is just out of range.

Kuciak shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Kuciak keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.
Hawk is looking for a sweep. Kuciak is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Kuciak is looking for a kimura but Hawk is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Kuciak to get the leverage.
Hawk has a hand on Kuciak's thigh, trying to get back to full guard. Kuciak takes advantage of the position though and mounts him!
Kuciak tries to control but Hawk wriggling away.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Hawk is just holding on here. Kuciak manages to take his back.
Kuciak wants to control but Hawk is keeping busy.
Hawk turns into Kuciak and is now in his guard.
Hawk trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Hawk has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Kuciak has his foot on Hawk's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Hawk works his way back into a safe position though.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Kuciak not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Hawk working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Dulsan Kuciak dominated that round.
That's time! Hawk's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Kuciak tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Hawk manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Hawk misses with a combination

and Kuciak holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Kuciak wants a takedown.

Hawk's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Hawk misses with a series of wild punches.
Hawk misses with a head kick.
No joy there for Hawk, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Hawk misses with a wild body shot.
Kuciak shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Hawk as he jumps to the side.
Kuciak tries to close the distance and clinch but Hawk swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Hawk!

It looks like Dulsan Kuciak has been cut.

Kuciak circles away from the clinch attempt.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Kuciak is defended easily by Hawk.
Reginald Hawk has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dulsan Kuciak.

Kuciak gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Hawk to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Kuciak is breathing heavily.

Kuciak has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Hawk doesn't defend quickly enough and Kuciak has managed to lock this one up! Can Hawk escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Kuciak on a fantastic submission victory.
