PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ishi Kiki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Little Mac (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mac has chosen Rig Veda as his entrance music. Little Mac will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mac throws a big shot that misses.

Kiki shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Kiki showed some decent athleticism there.
Kiki content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
Kiki is keen to just control but Mac is a slippery customer.

Kiki is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Mac is just riding it out for now. Kiki eventually gives up the hold.

Kiki is looking for a kimura here.
Kiki wants to pass to mount but Mac is defending the position.

Mac has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Kiki is working away from the top position though.
Mac wants to improve his position but Kiki is controlling well.

Kiki is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Mac is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
