Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Charm Demarsh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Robbie Salazar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Salazar has chosen Antistar (by Massive Attack) as his entrance music. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Charm Demarsh!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Robbie Salazar!
The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Alec Ball and Elvis Blanc.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A nice inside leg kick there by Demarsh. That's going to slow Salazar down.

Demarsh throws a wild body kick that Salazar sees coming a mile off.

Demarsh on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Demarsh tries to get out of the position.

You can see the frustration on Demarsh's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Demarsh knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Salazar on the ground.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Salazar wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Demarsh, who protects the arm well.

Salazar is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Demarsh is just riding it out for now. Salazar eventually gives up the hold.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Salazar is looking to pass Demarsh's guard but actually Demarsh recovers to full guard.

Demarsh looking to hit a scissor sweep but Salazar is one step ahead there.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
No joy there for Salazar, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Robbie Salazar dominated that round.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Salazar throws a nice looking combination but Demarsh bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Salazar stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Demarsh.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Demarsh lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Salazar has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Salazar and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Demarsh throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Salazar misses with a hook. Demarsh ducked under it nicely.

Demarsh has closed the distance and engaged Salazar in a clinch.

Demarsh breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Charm Demarsh is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Demarsh feints and then cracks Salazar's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Salazar down.

Demarsh clobbers Salazar with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

Salazar looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Salazar rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Demarsh moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Salazar misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Demarsh fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Salazar, pushing him back against the cage.
Demarsh will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Salazar up against the cage.

Salazar's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.

and Salazar connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

Salazar tries to bum rush Demarsh with a series of wild strikes but Demarsh uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Demarsh lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.

Salazar shoots in but no luck this time.

and Demarsh counters with a head kick. That will keep Salazar thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!
Good leg kick by Demarsh there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

Salazar is rocked!
Salazar takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Demarsh connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Salazar is still on wobbly legs! Can Demarsh finish him?
Demarsh fakes a right and follows up with a big left that drops Salazar to one knee - oooooh, he's wobbly! Salazar looks to clinch but Demarsh throws him off and pummels him into the canvas! Salazar taps out under the strikes! The fight is over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:11 of round 3, we have a winner by way of Submission (Strikes). Charm Demarsh!
