Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Remy Martine (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Brown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mike Brown will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Remy Martine!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Mike Brown!
The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Steve Smith and William Peck.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brown throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Martine slips a jab and a cross from Brown.
The fight stays on the outside here - Martine looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Martine shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Martine was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Brown is in all sorts of trouble here.
Martine swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Brown is now in Martine's guard. A big mistake from Martine there, giving up the dominant position!
Martine kicks Brown off and gets to his feet.
Martine tries a head kick but it misses.
Brown throws a right and a left that both miss.
Brown throws a series of strikes that have Martine backpedaling.

Martine sets himself and throws a head kick that knocks Brown to the ground! Martine dives into full mount looking to finish!
Brown is rocked!
Martine goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Brown turns into him and now he's in Martine's guard.
Brown is still in real trouble! Can Martine finish him?
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Martine has an active guard here but Brown has managed to pass into half guard.
Martine on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.
Brown seems to have recovered his senses.
Martine makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Martine.
Martine looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Brown passes into side control.
Martine is breathing heavily.

Martine looking for a sweep but Brown has passed into full mount! Oh no!

Brown landing strikes from the mount and Martine is in trouble!

Brown jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Martine manages to avoid the submission attempt.
Brown is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Martine knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Martine sneaks back into half guard.
Brown throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Martine tries to push off, looking to stand up, but Brown manages to move to mount!

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Martine is working hard here to advance position.

Martine is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position.
Brown pushing the pace here, looking to move to his opponents back and work for a finish.

Brown manages to capitalize on a mistake by Martine to take his back!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Mike Brown will probably get the nod.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Brown swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Brown misses with a double jab.
The fight stays on the outside here - Martine looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Martine throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Brown's head.
Brown throws a right and a left that both miss.
Martine clinches with his opponent.
Martine lands an elbow that stopped Brown in his tracks for a moment.
An uppercut to the body lands inside from Martine.
The is referee keeping an eye on Martine - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
Martine breaks the clinch.
Martine takes the fight into the clinch.
Brown wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Martine has him pressed against the cage.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Martine wants to stall.
Martine gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.
Martine wants to get up but he can't break Brown's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Martine looking to sit in guard and control but Brown gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Brown stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Martine swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Brown scores with a decent looking elbow strike.
Martine can't keep his opponent in guard - Brown advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Martine is trying to get back to full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Martine is looking to get back to full guard here but Brown has managed to pass to side control instead.
Martine can't escape the position.
Martine is trying to reverse the position but instead Brown has taken his back - oops!
I really don't envy Martine right now.
Martine breaks Brown's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.
Martine has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Brown to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Martine is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Brown pulls down on the head and he's put Martine to sleep! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:01 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Mike Brown!
