Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lou Ferrigno (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jason Davis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Davis has chosen Sober by Tool as his entrance music. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Lou Ferrigno!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jason Davis!
The judges for this bout are , Frank Antenori and Don Winkell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ferrigno falls off balance throwing a combination
and Davis counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Ferrigno lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.


It looks like Jason Davis has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Ferrigno throws a right hand that Davis ducks under and follows up with a left that Davis also avoids with ease.
Ferrigno bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Ferrigno will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Ferrigno misses with a combination
and Ferrigno takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Davis swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Ferrigno throws a right hand that Davis ducks under and follows up with a left that Davis also avoids with ease.

Davis throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Ferrigno looks to land a combination but Davis avoids it well.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

and Davis makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Ferrigno is breathing heavily.

Davis steps into range and cracks Ferrigno with a monster punch that buckles his knees! Ferrigno flops backwards and Davis dives into his guard looking to finish!


It looks like Lou Ferrigno has been cut.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Davis passes easily into side control. Nice work.
A lull in the action here as Davis stalls from top position.
Ferrigno is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
Ferrigno avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Davis.

Davis throws an elbow but Ferrigno slips to the side and avoids it well.
Ferrigno is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Davis has just dragged him back down to the mat.

Ferrigno bucks up and manages to escape back to his feet!
Ferrigno throws a series of punches but Davis moves out of range.
Ferrigno throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Davis.

Ferrigno stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Nice defenses there by Davis.
Ferrigno swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Ferrigno will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Ferrigno throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Davis.
Davis bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Ferrigno's head.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Davis throws a shot from downtown. Ferrigno moves away and avoids it.

Ferrigno takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.
Davis tries to move to mount but Ferrigno blocks the move with his legs.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Ferrigno gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.
Ferrigno is trying to escape back to his feet but Davis uses the scramble to pass into side control.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
That's time! Ferrigno's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

The cut above Jason Davis's eye is starting to cause him problems now.

and Davis counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Ferrigno displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Davis throws out the jab.
Davis lands a head shot.
Ferrigno scores with a jab to the head.

Davis shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Ferrigno's guard.

Ferrigno is looking for a triangle but Davis pushes his legs off easily.
Davis trying to control the position from guard on top but Ferrigno is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Davis wants to pass the guard but Ferrigno is keeping the position.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Davis accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Ferrigno escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Davis gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Ferrigno has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Davis can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Davis has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Davis wants to control the pace but Ferrigno is squirming around nicely.
Ferrigno is looking to improve his position but Davis isn't that keen on the idea.

Davis trying to control but Ferrigno is having none of it.
Ferrigno tries to lock up and control but Davis gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Jason Davis has got the better of the ground game so far.
Ferrigno is working to get back to half guard.
Ferrigno wants to hold on but Davis pushes him away.
BOOM! Davis connects with a massive shot to the dome!

Davis jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Ferrigno manages to avoid the submission attempt.

Ferrigno wants to get back to his feet.
Ferrigno tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Davis wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Davis thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Ferrigno tries to improve position but can't.

Davis looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Davis is looking to take a break and control but Ferrigno is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Davis working away.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Ferrigno looking for a sweep but Davis has passed into full mount! Oh no!
Davis prevents Ferrigno from getting the reversal.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close second round but Jason Davis will probably get the nod - 10:9.
Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! And we move into the final round!

Ferrigno swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
enabling Davis to counter with a crisp jab.
Ferrigno misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Davis jabs Ferrigno right on the nose. Ferrigno blinks but takes it well.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Davis looks to land a left hand but Ferrigno moved out of range nicely.
Ferrigno fails to land with a series of punches.
Jason Davis seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Ferrigno throws a right hand that misses

and Davis lands a stunning uppercut that sends Ferrigno to the mat!


Ferrigno is rocked!

Ferrigno looking for subs from the bottom but Davis mounts him!
Oh Ferrigno is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Ferrigno is squirming around, avoiding Davis's attempts to control the action.
Davis working the ground and pound effectively.
Davis lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Davis lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Davis is in full mount looking to finish with strikes. He lands a big shot, followed by another and Ferrigno goes limp! The ref jumps in to end the fight - a big win for Davis!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:21 of round 3, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Jason Davis!
