Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Brownie Jenkins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Matt Lauzon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lauzon throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Jenkins fails to land with a series of punches.
The fight stays on the outside here - Jenkins looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Lauzon swats away the attempt to clinch by Jenkins.
A punch combination from Lauzon misses.
Jenkins moves out of range of the body kick.
Lauzon lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Lauzon shoots in for a double leg but Jenkins sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Lauzon pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.

Jenkins slips under a jab.

Lauzon lands a two punch combo.
Jenkins tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Lauzon manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Lauzon shoots in for a takedown but Jenkins shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Jenkins lands a left and a right that send Lauzon crashing to the mat, dazed. Jenkins thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

and Jenkins counters with a crisp one two that drops Lauzon! Jenkins thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Lauzon to his feet! Lauzon is in big trouble!

Lauzon is still on wobbly legs! Can Jenkins finish him?

Jenkins throws an overhand right that drops Lauzon like a sack of potatoes! Jenkins dives in to finish the fight with more strikes and this one is all over!
