The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A big right from Mustayne misses.

Mustayne might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.

Mustayne jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Berg walks away with a smile on his face. Mustayne gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

That has opened up David Mustayne's cut even more.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Berg moves forwards but Mustayne connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Mustayne throws a looping overhand right but Berg ducks down to avoid it.

Berg clinches up with Mustayne and pushes him back against the ropes.

Mustayne tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

Mustayne tries to pull guard but Berg holds him up against the ropes and eventually Mustayne drops back down to his feet.

Berg pushes Mustayne back against the ropes and unloads with a body punch.

Mustayne jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Berg walks away with a smile on his face. Mustayne gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Mustayne connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Berg's hands.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Mustayne takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.

The cut above David Mustayne's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Berg misses with a body shot.
Berg walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Berg swings and misses with a hook to the body.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Mustayne lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

David Mustayne's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at David Mustayne's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!

A relieved looking Kristian Berg thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
