Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 4 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Naga Moriz!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Paul Dravinski!
The judges for this bout are Igor Prikhodko, Viktor Lagutenko and Vladimir Khabensky.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Moriz cracks Dravinski with a good jab.
A combination from Moriz does no damage.
Moriz looks to land a left hand but Dravinski moved out of range nicely.

Dravinski rushes Moriz and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Moriz tries to stall but Dravinski uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
Dravinski changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Moriz fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Moriz throws out a loose jab but Dravinski uses good head movement to avoid it.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Dravinski loads up on a big right hand but Moriz slips the punch.
Moriz waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Dravinski.

Dravinski forces Moriz back against the cage and clinches.
Dravinski has Moriz pressed against the cage, preventing Moriz from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Dravinski leaning against his opponent.
Dravinski goes for a takedown attempt but Moriz pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

Moriz throws out a loose jab but Dravinski uses good head movement to avoid it.
Moriz thows a left - swing and a miss!
Moriz throws a right and a left that Dravinski avoids nicely.
Dravinski tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Dravinski misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Naga Moriz has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Paul Dravinski.
Dravinski moves out of range of the strikes.
Moriz misses with a straight left.
Moriz misses with the combination.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Dravinski drops his hands momentarily and Moriz takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Dravinski moves in looking to clinch but Moriz pushes him off.
Dravinski closes the distance and clinches up with Moriz, looking for a takedown. Dravinski pushes Moriz against the cage but Moriz circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Dravinski moves out of range as Moriz strikes.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Naga Moriz dominated that round.
That's time! Back to the action!


Dravinski swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Dravinski throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Moriz.
A slow jab from Moriz misses its intended target.
Moriz misses with a hook. Dravinski ducked under it nicely.
Paul Dravinski seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Moriz avoids the head kick by Dravinski.
Dravinski slips a straight right by Moriz.

Dravinski looks to land a combination but Moriz avoids it well.
Dravinski takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Moriz misses with the combination.
Naga Moriz is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Left hook, right uppercut from Moriz.


Dravinski is rocked!

Nice takedown defense from Moriz. No joy for Dravinski on that attempt.
Dravinski misses with a straight right.
Dravinski misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Moriz scores with a counter punch that sends Dravinski to the canvas! Moriz smells blood - he's punishing Dravinski with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! Dravinski has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:26 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Naga Moriz!
