Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Aussie Victory (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lath Hoy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hoy has chosen Go Ninja-Vanilla Ice as his entrance music. Both these fighters are unbeaten, so somebody's 0 has got to go!Lath Hoy acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hoy tries for a takedown but Victory sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Victory throws a right and a left that both miss.
Victory misses with a wild body shot.
Hoy changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Victory tries to avoid it but Hoy manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Victory to the ground. Victory escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Victory scores with a shot to the body.
Victory fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Hoy manages to avoid it.
Victory connects with a nice looking jab.
Victory misses with a few strikes there.
Victory throws a shot to the body.
Victory misses with an uppercut.
Victory fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Hoy manages to avoid it.
Victory avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Victory swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Victory misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Hoy bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
A left lands for Victory.
Victory scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Hoy doesn't seem bothered though.

Hoy changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Victory looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Victory is looking for a sweep.

Hoy is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Victory knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Victory sneaks back into half guard.

Hoy is trying to work for a kimura but Victory is defending well.
Hoy looks gassed!

Hoy is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Hoy looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Victory fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Hoy looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Victory throws a jab when Hoy was well out of range.
No luck for Hoy with that takedown attempt.
Victory throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Victory is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Hoy.
Horrible takedown by Hoy or perhaps it was just good defense by Victory which made him look bad.

Hoy tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Victory swivels and escapes.

Hoy throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Victory's waist but Victory gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Hoy off to one side.

Hoy shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Victory's guard.
Victory manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Hoy manages to get himself to full guard.

Hoy had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Victory is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Hoy Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Victory's back instead.
Hoy doesn't have the hooks in and Victory manages to turn into his guard.
Hoy looking to hit a scissor sweep but Victory is one step ahead there.
Hoy utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Victory showing good wrestling skills to control the position.

and Hoy counters with a nice double leg into side control. Victory won't be happy with that.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Hoy is working to tighten is grip on Victory's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Victory has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Hoy is really squeezing tight and eventually Victory passes out! Hoy breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
