Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Benny Drake (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hunter Helms (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Helms has chosen we aint gonna take it by twisted sister as his entrance music. Hunter Helms is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Drake shoots for a double leg takedown but Helms sprawls well. He's pushed Drake's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Helms fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Helms throws a jab but it's blocked by Drake.
Helms misses with a straight right.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Drake is defended easily by Helms.
Drake connects with a solid leg kick.
Drake fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

Drake tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Helms swivels and escapes.
Drake throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Drake closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Helms did well to prevent Drake getting side control.

Helms is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Helms with the ground and pound but Drake uses the opportunity to regain guard.

Helms throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Drake.
Drake feints and then cracks Helms's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Helms down.

Helms closes the distance and clinches up with Drake, looking for a takedown. Helms pushes Drake against the cage but Drake circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Helms looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Drake! Helms is out on his feet! Drake rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Helms is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Helms is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.
