The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Swain misses with a low kick.
Kuo throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Horrible takedown by Kuo or perhaps it was just good defense by Swain which made him look bad.
Swain scores with a nice right hand.
Swain lunges at Kuo with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Kuo's hand.
Kuo tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Swain manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Swain sizes up Kuo with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
A bit of stalling here from Swain.
Kuo doesn't land with the attempted body shot.

Swain breaks the clinch.
Swain scores with a jab to the head.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Swain jabs at Kuo's body.
Kuo walks into a left hand.
Swain fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.

Kuo is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Swain's half guard.
Kuo seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
Kuo prevents Swain from standing back up.

Swain wants to get back to his feet.

Kuo in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Swain tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Kuo!
