Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
12 - 9 - 0, fighting out of London, William Eriksson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
7 - 8 - 1, fighting out of London, Coke Poep!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Phil Schofield and Richard Clark.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Eriksson tries to clinch up.
Poep looks for a takedown but Eriksson sprawls well.
Eriksson tries a head kick but it misses.
Eriksson doesn't manage to clinch there - Poep circles away.
Eriksson comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Eriksson throws a head kick that Poep semi-blocks.
Poep fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Poep closes this distance looking for a takedown but Eriksson circles away.
William Eriksson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Coke Poep.
Eriksson lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Eriksson.
It looks like Coke Poep has been cut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Eriksson closes the distance and pushes Poep back into the cage.
Eriksson is pressed up against the cage. Poep has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Eriksson down to the mat. Eriksson avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Eriksson with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Eriksson misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Poep circles away from the clinch attempt
so Poep counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
That's one minute gone in the round.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Poep drops back looking for a leg! Eriksson is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Eriksson manages to kick Poep off! Poep jumps back into Eriksson's guard.
Poep controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Eriksson wants to get back to his feet but Poep is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Poep passes into half guard.
Eriksson is staying active underneath Poep, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Still in half guard, Poep seems content to control.
Poep is looking for a kimura but Eriksson is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Poep to get the leverage.
Eriksson is trying to get back to full guard.
Eriksson is working hard here to advance position.
Eriksson is defending against the submission attempts here by Poep.

Poep seems to be looking for submissions.
Eriksson wants to get back to his feet.
Poep throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Poep works his foot free and advances to mount.
Poep looking to isolate an arm here. Eriksson doesn't see it coming and as Poep extends the arm, he's forced to tap out! Nice submission by Poep!

A very excited looking Coke Poep rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
