The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boonstra throws a sloppy head kick and Vasilios moves out of range easily.
Vasilios shoots in but Boonstra avoids the takedown attempt easily.
A punch combination from Boonstra misses.

Boonstra closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Vasilios did well to prevent Boonstra getting side control.
Boonstra thows a huge punch but Vasilios dodges it nicely.

Boonstra is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Vasilios moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Boonstra wanted to stand there but Vasilios had control of the position.

Vasilios is looking to sinch up a triangle. Boonstra throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Vasilios's body to avoid the submission. Vasilios has instead reached around Boonstra's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Vasilios arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
