Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Thomas Alan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and James Jameson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, James Jameson!
The judges for this bout are Illya Tyunina, Dmitry Maklakov and Igor Prikhodko.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alan tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Jameson paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Jameson looks to score with a jab to the body but Alan is just out of range.

Alan forces Jameson back against the cage and clinches.
Jameson wants to stall.
Jameson stalling in the clinch.

Alan has Jameson pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Alan pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Jameson tumbling to the mat - Alan dives into Jameson's guard.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Alan wants to control from the top but Jameson keeps moving.

Jameson trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from!
Jameson throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.

Jameson is trying to control the position but Alan postures up.
Alan scores with a decent looking elbow strike.
Alan will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Jameson is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Jameson is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
The fighters are battling for position here. Alan manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
Alan wants to sweep but no luck.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Jameson throws a big elbow that misses.

Alan pulls Jameson in to control the position.

Alan takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Alan looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Jameson with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Alan is controlling the pace.
Jameson is in trouble now - Alan has advanced to mount!

Alan fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Alan cracks Jameson with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

Alan prevents Jameson from getting the reversal.
Alan really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Alan is in the full mount, landing strikes.
Jameson swinging wildly from the bottom but he's not landing.
A nice elbow there by Alan.
Alan prevents Jameson from getting the reversal.

Jameson is rocked!
Alan lands a heavy elbow.
Jameson is still in real trouble! Can Alan finish him?

Alan loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Jameson scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Alan land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Alan stands and salutes the crowd.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Thomas Alan!
