Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Christian Kaesewitz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kirk Ammo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Kaesewitz might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Aaron. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Christian Kaesewitz!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Kirk Ammo!
The judges for this bout are Steve Erwin, Damien Edna and Skip Squint.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A jab from Ammo finds it's way through Kaesewitz's defenses.
Ammo scores with a shot to the body.
Ammo stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Ammo wants it to stay on the feet.

Ammo rushes Kaesewitz and presses him up against the cage.

Kaesewitz has clasped his hands together around Ammo's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.

Kaesewitz is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Ammo knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Kaesewitz tries for a kimura but Ammo is defending well.
Ammo is positioning himself to get back to half guard.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Kaesewitz thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Kaesewitz working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Ammo tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Kaesewitz wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Kaesewitz tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Kaesewitz has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Kaesewitz looking to control but instead Ammo has slipped a leg in, to regain half guard.

Kaesewitz has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Ammo defend it? Kaesewitz steps over the head and cranks it - Ammo is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Kaesewitz!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:43 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Christian Kaesewitz!
Christian Kaesewitz tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
