The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hax shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Magamedov defends it nicely.

Magamedov tries to sprawl but Hax drives through with a takedown into half guard.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Hax is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
Magamedov is trying to maintain the position but Hax is very close to passing his half guard.

Hax is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Magamedov defends it well.
Hax throwing shots but Magamedov is blocking nicely.

Hax looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Hax has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Magamedov defend it? Hax steps over the head and cranks it - Magamedov is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Hax!
