The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shamrock tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Palander counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Palander stalks Shamrock and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Shamrock's face. Shamrock staggers backwards, shaken.

It looks like Finley Shamrock has been cut.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Shamrock on the wrong end of a nice jab.
Palander wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Shamrock wants to clinch but Palander slips to the side

and Palander counters with a crisp one two that drops Shamrock! Palander thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Shamrock to his feet! Shamrock is in big trouble!

Shamrock is rocked!
Palander lands a big uppercut and this one is all over! His foe lies motionless on the canvas - a massive one punch knockout!
